Our hero is up but his power has not fully returned yet so he is relying on the hospitality of his new host, Lorel, until such time he can continue on his journey to find the elusive, or even fictional, Tower. Until such time he has nothing to do but hide from the Queen of this kingdom, a witch herself, and hope she doesn't discover him and summon the Hound. In his condition he can not stand up to her.
